How Lynx Phone Works

Lynx Phone routes your calls over the Internet using Voice over Internet Protocol, rather than telephone lines. But even though your phone uses the Internet, it has nothing to do with your computer. In fact, your computer doesn't have to be on to use a Lynx Phone. The people you call don’t need to have a Lynx Phone or the Internet to get your call - any phone will do. And when someone calls you, your Lynx Phone rings just like a normal phone. You won’t even notice the difference!

How does it get setup?

Connect the Lynx Phone adapter to your existing high-speed Internet connection. Connect your telephone to the Lynx Phone adapter. Pick up your phone and make a call !
We offer complimentary setup to all our customers, but it’s very simple and some customers opt to do it themselves.

We do require our customers to sign a waiver acknolwedging that Lynx Phone cannot be used for emergency calling in the event of a power failure.
